Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: PCU experience is not required.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests: Parking options for agency staff include a WMC Agency Permit for $215.20/month or $716.62 per 100-day permit; a WB Permit for $15.67/month with shuttle service to the medical center; and a CXS Permit for $31.42/month. Parking costs and options are subject to change per CampusParc policies.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekdays and some weekends.
Unit Details: This is a mixed med-surg/PCU unit. Med-surg procedures include Foley catheters, PICC lines, IVs, IV antibiotics, chest tubes, bedside paracentesis, peritoneal dialysis, lumbar punctures, etc. Adult and geriatric patient population. Patient population includes general medicine issues, opioid abuse, organ failure, changes in level of consciousness, behavior issues, and MRDD/delay issues.
Floating Requirements: Float to lower-acuity units within the OSU organization as needed.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
