Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2060 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Connecticut license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Special Requests: - Cannot work another job while applying for this assignment. - RTO is not approved during the first two weeks of the assignment. - Minimal RTO is requested.

Unit Details: - Patient ratios are 1:3-4 on days and 1:7-8 on nights. - Telemetry is not used on the unit. - CPAP is used at bedtime only. - Patients have general medical diagnoses. - A hospitalist is in-house 24/7. - IV team support is available from 7 AM to 8:30 PM; a nurse resource is available 24/7 for IV help from 7 PM to 7 AM. - Nurses perform all respiratory treatments, with respiratory therapy available 24/7. - Pharmacy support is available 24/7.

Shift & Scheduling: - Must be willing to work 48 hours per week. - Shift may be 8s or 12s. - Every other weekend is required; the entire weekend, including Sunday, must be worked. - Holiday rotation is every other holiday.

14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
