Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Summit Healthcare Association.

Required Skills/Experience: - Charge nurse experience required. - Strong neuro and cardiac skills required.
Unit Details: - Charge RN assignment on a Med-Surg/Tele unit with heavy telemetry focus and telemetry capability on all beds. - Adult and pediatric population; travelers will not be assigned pediatric patients. - Uses Sunrise Allscripts. - Support staff includes tele techs, HUCs, PCTs, and charge nurse support. - Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5 days; 1:6 nights; 1:4 peds - also based on level of acuity. - Nurse managers do not provide patient care, but they do rounds. - Hospitalist, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy available 24/7. - No IV team.
Floating Requirements: - Float to all Med-Surg units and ICU for Med-Surg overflow patients.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
