Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Required Skills/Experience: Reading basic telemetry strips required. Some experience with CVA and TIA required. Total joint replacement experience required.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details: Patient population includes CHF, COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, telemetry, post-cath, and total joint replacement patients. Diltiazem/Cardizem drips are taken at a set rate. RNs are required to interpret telemetry strips and sign at least once a shift. Uses BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments.
Shift & Scheduling: Schedules are made out for 4 weeks. Self-scheduling is used but not final until the manager balances it. 2 weekends per 4-week schedule. For Christmas, New Year’s, and Thanksgiving, travelers are expected to work 2 days and 1 eve or 2 eves and 1 day across Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and Thanksgiving Day. No call.
Floating Requirements: First to float. May float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
