Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holiday shifts rotate with core staff. Shift times are 0630-1900 and 1830-0700.
Unit Details: Nurses read telemetry strips. Drips include heparin and blood. No ventilators; BiPAP and CPAP may be used at night. A hospitalist or intensivist is in-house. No IV team is available; respiratory therapy and pharmacy are available 24/7. Patient population includes all postoperative surgical patients not requiring a higher level of care, including bariatric, orthopedic, and spine patients, as well as general telemetry patients.
Floating Requirements: First to float. Floating includes MedSurg 6, Tele 7 (within skill set), and Rehab.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
