Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years of current Med-Surg experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous charge experience preferred.

Unit Details: The Emergency Department stabilizes and treats patients for discharge home when possible; emergent conditions may be stabilized and transferred to other facilities when services are unavailable onsite. TeleEmergency, Telepsych, and teleneonatal services are available in the Emergency Department via DHMC. DHART and LifeFlight of Maine provide helicopter trauma service to the campus for rapid transfer of critically ill or injured patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.

Floating Requirements: Floating to the Emergency Department is required.

14 days maximum time off

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
