Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Oregon license (required for submission).
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No previous experience allowed for Staff at Program: Medefis Program - Samaritan Health Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Samaritan Health Services.

Previous Employment Requirements: Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: The facility may make one off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but a written request is required to apply.
Required Skills/Experience: Telemetry monitoring is available for patients requiring stable cardiac monitoring. Experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Orthopedic and Bariatric experience
Preferred Credentials: Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.
Unit/Facility Details: The Medical Surgical unit specializes in the care of acutely ill adults and of those who require surgery both emergent and elective.
Special Requests: No excessive RTO will be approved Holiday Coverage Required: Yes
Shift & Scheduling: No guaranteed work schedule aside from shift time. 1900-0730 Rotating weekends
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
