Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• 3 months of travel experience is required.
• BSN completion preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: May screen strong Med-Surg RN candidates with 1.5 to <2 years of Med-Surg experience who acquire that 1.5+ years in a steady flow (not a cumulative total across different jobs). Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.
Required Credentials: You must have compact license or MD license.
Unit Details: Required to work with a wound salvage program. The wound salvage program includes patients with wounds and PVD sent to the OR for serial procedures, antibiotics, wound cultures, wound vacs, and pain medication in an attempt to preserve their extremities; amputations sometimes occur. Adult and geriatric patient population. Patient population includes diabetes, heart disease, renal disease, COPD, asthma, pneumonia, flu, COVID, infections, small bowel obstruction, wound salvage, cellulitis, and dementia.
Shift & Scheduling: Every 3rd weekend required.
Floating Requirements: Float required within skillset as needed.
7 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
