Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• BSN completion preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Unit Details: General medical patients include those with sepsis, COPD, bowel obstructions, CHF, and other conditions. RNs are required to titrate insulin and heparin drips. No telemonitor techs are available on the unit; the telemonitor is centralized in Arizona and is reachable via the Ascom app on an iPhone. Respiratory support is limited to CPAP and established BiPAPs.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends as needed. Holiday coverage is required.
Floating Requirements: Travelers are first to float. The primary assignment is St. Francis Hospital, but if needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region I, including St. Anne Hospital (Burien, WA), Virginia Mason Medical Center (Seattle, WA), and St. Francis Hospital (Federal Way, WA).
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
