Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2020 per week.

Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >40 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Deaconess Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 1 travel assignment required. - Recent Epic charting experience required.

Unit Details: - Patient ratio: Days 1:4-5; NOCs 1:6-7. - Med/Surg patient population includes post-surgical, UTI, sepsis, high fall risk, COPD, and CHF. - Skillset includes remote tele, chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight cath/Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood/blood product administration, tracheostomy care, and PCA management. - Teaching hospital; may require precepting students and new hires. - CNA support.

Shift & Scheduling: - Three weekends out of every six-week schedule. Every other holiday. - Flexible contract hours: 36 per week; 48 per week may be accepted upon request.

Floating Requirements: - First to float within skillset to Deaconess Newburgh (IN) and potentially Deaconess Henderson (KY). 2 HR notice given for cross-campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus; cross-campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
