Medical Technician

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Technician to support our client's healthcare facility in Everett, WA. 
 
Job Details: 
Schedule: Mon - Fri/ 8 hrs shift
Location:  Everett, WA 98201
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 3 months (with possible extension or conversion)
Pay Range: $42.00 to $45.00/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform waived, moderate, and high-complexity laboratory testing.
• Process and maintain specimen integrity.
• Evaluate results and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Perform and document QC/QA activities and proficiency testing.
• Maintain accurate records and utilize the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Monitor supplies and maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment.
• Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and medical professionals.
• Follow HIPAA, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related science.
• Current MLS/MT certification through ASCP, AMT, AAB, or another nationally recognized agency.
• 1+ year of MLS/MT experience preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing, QC/QA, instrumentation, and LIS.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around biological/chemical materials.
