Background Investigation, Clinical Laboratory, Clinical Pathology, Co-Payments, Health Plan, Healthcare, Laboratory Techniques, Organizational Skills, People Management, Quality Control, Retirement Plan
Under the supervision of the designated Coordinator, performs clinical laboratory procedures, quality control, and instrument maintenance. The position reports to the Laboratory Director through the Coordinator. The Medical Technologist also maintains cooperative working relationships with intradepartmental and interdepartmental personnel.
Minimum Education:
- A Baccalaureate degree in medical technology or an affiliated field with a certification as a medical technologist by registry board of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent.
- One year of training in a school of medical technology approved by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent. Plus two to three years experience is required. Supervisory abilities must be exhibited.
