Brief Job Description: The Medical Technician III (Certified Nursing Assistant) provides direct patient care in a 75-bed inpatient hospital, supporting medical staff and assisting with patient self-care tasks, such as hygiene, feeding, and taking vital signs. Responsibilities include transporting patients, preparing rooms, assisting in therapeutic activities, and maintaining unit equipment. The role involves limited supervision and requires initiative and judgment. Additionally, the technician may drive state vehicles for patient transport, ensuring vehicle cleanliness and reporting any issues, while following Department of Health policies.
