Job Title: Medical Technologist
Location: Aibonito, PR (Onsite Clinic – 5 days/week)
Schedule: Rotating shifts Mon–Sun (incl. holidays), 7AM–11PM; monthly schedules

Overview

The Medical Technologist performs pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processing of laboratory specimens in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, and bacteriology. This patient-facing role ensures accurate testing, result reporting, and compliance within MSO Clinic standards while maintaining quality control and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and test specimens across lab departments; report results accurately.

• Maintain lab records, equipment, and perform quality control/calibration checks.

• Collect samples, handle biological specimens, and ensure proper documentation.

• Operate, clean, and maintain lab equipment; analyze and interpret test results.

• Provide technical support for neonatal through geriatric patients.

• Adhere to safety, infection control, Chemical Hygiene, and HIPAA policies.

• Submit required statistics/reports and participate in new procedure evaluations.

• Diagnostic test analysis and quality controls.

• Strong documentation and result printing/reporting.

• Rotating shift flexibility (weekends/holidays).
