Overview

Join a leading regional laboratory team as a Medical Technologist in Hudson, Florida, performing critical diagnostic testing in chemistry, hematology, and blood bank disciplines. Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely clinical laboratory testing following established protocols.

• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments; perform quality control and equipment troubleshooting.

• Analyze, interpret, and validate test results with sound clinical judgment.

• Document results accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards (CAP, CLIA, etc.).

• Support testing across Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology departments.

• Manage stat and routine test orders within turnaround time goals.

• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure appropriate specimen collection and test interpretation.

• Maintain proficiency with laboratory information systems and workflow documentation.

• Assist in maintaining supply inventories and supporting departmental performance goals.

Qualifications

Required:

• Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related field.

• Current or eligible Florida Technologist License (must be obtained prior to hire).

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist.

• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a related discipline.

• Experience in a hospital-based or high-volume laboratory environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: $27.09 to $37.92/hr (based on experience)
Shift Differential: $2.50/hr (Nights)
On-Call Pay: $2/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (for Night Shift)
