A certified Medical Technologist who has the ability to perform routine testing with no supervision. This individual has further skills in problem solving, troubleshooting, quality assurance and communication within their specific department and with other areas. This technologist may train students and technical/non-technical laboratory employees. This position will have responsibilities for instrument primary user, accreditation checklist(s), and/or committee/project leadership responsibilities.
Qualifications
Education: 4/year Bachelors Degree
License/Certification: MT (ASCP) or equivalent
Experience: 1- 3 years
