Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT) Lexington, KY

We are seeking a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join a growing laboratory team in the Lexington, Kentucky area. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Compensation

• Medical Technologist (MT/MLS): $28-$40/hour

• Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT): $22-$33/hour

• Compensation based on experience, education, and certifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures

• Analyze, interpret, and report test results accurately and efficiently

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation

• Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures

• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (MLT) or Bachelor's degree (MT/MLS) in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field

• ASCP certification preferred or eligible to obtain certification

• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
