Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT)
Full-Time | Permanent Direct Hire
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT) to join a hospital laboratory team. This is an excellent opportunity for a laboratory professional looking to make an impact in a patient-focused environment while working with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical laboratory experience, attention to detail, and the ability to perform accurate testing across multiple laboratory departments.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of clinical laboratory testing including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, microbiology, urinalysis, and blood bank (as applicable)
Analyze and interpret laboratory results to ensure accuracy and quality patient care
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
Perform quality control and proficiency testing according to regulatory standards
Follow laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and compliance requirements
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely reporting of results
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
ASCP certification preferred (MT/MLS/MLT) or equivalent certification
Previous hospital laboratory experience preferred
Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and quality standards
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
