Ourlaboratory team is looking for an ASCP registered, or registry eligible, Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician for our Blood Bank who believes in our Labs Mission Statement of working collaboratively to ensure quality results for every patient every time. Duties include specimen testing, releasing blood products,specimen processing and clerical duties. REQUIREMENTS: MT/MLS Bachelors degree in science, AND certificationthrough ASCP/AMTOReligibility for MLS ASCP licensing exam. For the MLT/CLS Associates degree fromthe MLT program, AND certificationthrough ASCP/AMTOReligibility for the MLT/CLSASCP licensing exam. Applicant must have experience as a Blood Bank Tech, or have theory and knowledge of BloodBank from an accredited Medical Lab Technician or Medical Technologist program. Applicants must have: A passion for caring for the community through quality work in a stand-alone hospital lab. A drive to learn new practices to be able to adapt to our rapidly growing test menu. A willingness to offer new ideas to the team to help with our culture of continuous improvement. The ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
