We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care and support in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of CNA experience, a current Tennessee CNA license, and a BLS certification. Experience in correctional or psychiatric (psych) settings is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Serve meals and assist patients with eating and hydration.
Measure and record vital signs.
Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent skin breakdown.
Collect and report patient information and changes in condition to nurses and caregivers.
Assist with transferring and lifting patients to beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, and other equipment.
Observe patients for bruises, wounds, blood in urine, or other injuries and report findings promptly.
Clean and sanitize patient rooms and care areas.
Change bed linens and restock rooms with necessary medical and patient care supplies.
Support nursing staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and compassionate care environment.
Qualifications:
Current Tennessee CNA License (required)
Current BLS Certification (required)
Minimum 1 year of CNA experience
Correctional or psychiatric (psych) experience preferred
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
