POSITION SUMMARY The Lead Tech/MT/MLT/CLS/CLT is responsible for: Performing the lab tests ordered by providers in an accurate and timely manner. Performing venipunctures and capillary draws on Inpatients, Emergency Department patients, and Outpatients as required. Performing Preventive Maintenance and other Quality Assurance Activities to promote continuing excellence within the laboratory. QUALIFICATIONS Education: MLT/CLT Associate in Applied Science Degree with MLT/CLT, highly recommended to be registered with a nationally recognized organization (ASCP preferred). MT/CLS - Bachelors of Science degree with MT/CLS or the equivalent in education, highly recommended to be registered with a nationally recognized organization (ASCP preferred). Experience: Prior Medical Technology experience preferred
