Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Medicare Member Services Representative in Akron, OH . This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service, call center, or administrative support experience, especially within Medicare or health insurance . This position offers full-time hours and long-term potential.

Position Summary

The Medicare Member Services Representative provides personalized support to members and helps resolve questions related to enrollment, benefits, eligibility, billing, claims, and authorizations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced service environment.

Schedule and Work Setting

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Orientation and training are conducted on-site
• After training, the role may transition to a remote work arrangement , depending on business needs

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized service to members by phone, electronically, or in person
• Answer questions related to:
• • Enrollment
  • Benefits
  • Eligibility
  • Billing
  • Claims
  • Authorizations
• Record member inquiries and complaints accurately in the tracking system
• Route issues appropriately for follow-up and resolution
• Meet departmental production and quality standards
• Communicate with empathy, professionalism, and a customer-first attitude
• Maintain knowledge of Medicare, health insurance processes, and internal systems
• Protect confidential member health and business information
• Manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• College experience preferred
• 1+ year of experience in similar responsibilities required
• Relevant experience may include:
• • Customer service
  • Call center support
  • Administrative support
• Background in Medicare and/or health insurance is strongly preferred

Preferred Skills

• Strong phone and customer service skills
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Comfortable using Windows-based systems and standard office equipment
• Strong keyboarding and computer navigation skills
• Ability to work with VPN, Wi-Fi, and audio/headset controls
• Ability to maintain professionalism, empathy, and confidence on calls
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to learn policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Physical Requirements

• Sit for extended periods of time
• Bend, stoop, and stretch as needed
• Lift up to 20 pounds
• Use a computer, headset, and standard office equipment regularly
