Medication Aide

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Medication Aide to support resident care during weekends on the 3rd shift. In this role, you will help ensure medications are administered accurately and on time while contributing to a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for those in your care. Responsibilities

• Administer medications according to established policies, procedures, and care plans.
• Document medication administration and resident observations accurately and promptly.
• Monitor residents for any changes in condition and report concerns to the appropriate clinical staff.
• Assist with routine resident care as directed and within scope of practice.
• Support a clean, safe, and organized care environment during overnight weekend shifts.
• Maintain compliance with facility standards, safety protocols, and confidentiality requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Current certification or registration as a Medication Aide, as required by state regulations.
• Experience in a healthcare, assisted living, long-term care, or similar setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and responsive in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable availability for weekends and overnight 3rd shift hours.
