Evaluation & Treatment Facility
Shift – Full-Time Swing Shift (Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm)

Compass Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medication Nurse to join our Evaluation & Treatment (E&T) Facility at the Marc Healing Center in Everett. This is a vital opportunity to provide direct, recovery-focused care to adults experiencing psychiatric emergencies in a highly supportive inpatient setting.
Our 16-bed Evaluation & Treatment Facility offers inpatient services for adults detained under the Washington State Involuntary Treatment Act (RCW 71.05). Patients may be admitted for 72-hour involuntary holds or extended 14-day commitments. Our interdisciplinary team works together to stabilize, evaluate, and treat individuals experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms—with the goal of restoring safety, dignity, and wellness.
Current Washington State LPN or RN license
2 years experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings strongly preferred
Current First Aid & CPR certification and Food Handler’s Permit, or ability to obtain within 90 days
Must be able to pass a criminal background check (may include DSHS verification)
Thorough knowledge of medication use and potential side effects.
Thorough knowledge of nursing issues pertaining to the patient population served in the program along with thorough understanding of the nursing process and intervention strategies used to address these issues.
Thorough knowledge of involuntary commitment laws.
Work takes place in a secure inpatient setting with moderate to high noise levels
Must be able to assist in managing aggressive behavior as part of crisis response
Requires standing, sitting, walking, talk, use close vision, and physical engagement throughout 8-hour shifts
Occasional lifting/movement of up to 20 lbs.
