Responsibilities
Responsible for administration medications and documentation in accordance with the standards set forth by Harmony Homes and as directed by the Executive Director.
Replenishes medication and supplies as needed and maintains nursing station cleanliness.
Keeps licensed personnel informed of significant observations in resident care and environmental condition, supply and equipment needs and performance problems.
Assist in serving meals and busing tables during mealtimes if necessary.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including self-management, monitoring, or supervision of medications, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
Document information pertaining to changes in resident’s functional status, personal needs, appointments, etc.
Report concerns about residents to supervisor and co-workers.
Respond to resident emergencies and arrange for appropriate medical attention.
Identify supplies needed to perform tasks and report needs to supervisor.
Shifts Available:
Fridays from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Mondays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Education and Qualifications
Must be a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) with Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) certification.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally, with the ability to read, write and understand English
Able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds
Spend long periods of time walking/standing
Must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school degree or equivalent GED preferred.
Preference will be given to candidates with 1-2 years prior experience working with the elderly, preferably in a residential setting.
License/Certification:
MNA License (Required)
Work Location: In person
Fridays from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mondays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
