What You’ll Do
- Administer medications accurately and safely in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Document medication administration and monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and security of medications
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding resident medication needs and concerns
- Provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed while promoting dignity and independence
