    Your impact

    • Lead end-to-end troubleshooting across diesel engines, drivetrains, hydraulics, electrical systems, and truck-mounted utility equipment
    • Execute preventative maintenance and compliance inspections with attention to detail
    • Operate diagnostic software and scan tools to pinpoint, validate, and document faults
    • Service boom/bucket trucks, digger derricks, dump and service trucks, forestry units, and aerial devices
    • Produce precise repair documentation, submit work orders for approval, and ensure cost accuracy
    • Champion safe work practices and participate in monthly safety meetings
    • Support team objectives with additional duties as needed

    Bring these competencies

    • Advanced diesel engine diagnostics and repair (mechanical and electrical)
    • Preventative maintenance discipline and thorough visual assessments
    • Proficiency with scan tools and software; strong data and fault-code interpretation
    • Working command of diesel engines, drivetrain, hydraulics, and electrical circuits

    Technical stack

    • Cummins INSITE
    • Detroit Diesel DiagnosticLink (DDDL)
    • OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools
    • Electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting methodologies

    Minimum profile

    • 5+ years as a Service Technician / Diesel Mechanic on medium- and heavy-duty trucks
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Experience across diesel, medium/heavy trucks, or adjacent sectors (construction, agriculture, military)
    • Mechanical aptitude spanning hydraulics, electrical, and heavy equipment
    • Basic computer skills for documenting repair activity
    • Valid driver’s license and the ability to furnish your own tools

    Preferred

    • Vocational/Technical schooling or Military Wheeled Mechanic background
    • 3+ years repairing utility trucks or heavy equipment
    • CDL Class A or B

    Schedule and physical requirements

    • Monday–Friday day shift; overtime as needed (occasional Saturdays)
    • Lift and move tools/equipment as required
    • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, standing
    • High manual dexterity
