Job Summary (List Format):
- Collaborate with Foundation leaders and process owners to assess workflows and identify automation opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Automate and related technologies.
- Lead the architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization of advanced Power Automate cloud and desktop flows.
- Build production-ready automations for operational use cases such as shared mailbox management, invoice processing, workflow approvals, notifications, data reconciliation, and audit trails.
- Integrate Power Automate with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Forms, Power Apps, Dataverse) and approved third-party systems.
- Apply advanced Power Automate capabilities, including complex expressions, variables, arrays, child flows, custom connectors, APIs, error handling, and retry logic.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate automation or AI solutions for business needs.
- Develop secure and scalable solutions compliant with company technology, data privacy, cybersecurity, and access-control standards.
- Establish and maintain development standards for naming, environment management, versioning, documentation, testing, deployment, and support.
- Implement exception handling, alerts, logging, recovery, and operational controls for automations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation failures, connector limitations, performance issues, and data-quality challenges.
- Develop prototypes and proofs of concept to validate solution feasibility and value.
- Create process maps, solution designs, technical documentation, test scripts, support guides, and user training materials.
- Measure and communicate automation outcomes and performance metrics.
- Provide knowledge transfer, coaching, and training to employees supporting automation solutions.
- Help develop a prioritized automation roadmap and promote reusable automation patterns.
- Coordinate with enterprise technology teams to ensure solutions align with governance and architecture standards.
- Stay current with evolving Microsoft Power Platform capabilities and recommend operational enhancements.
- Develop, document, and configure system specifications that meet architecture standards and business requirements.
- Participate in planning, deployment, and compliance activities related to hardware and software.
- Evaluate and document system interfaces, operational requirements, and system performance.
- Regularly assess and improve system functionality, performance, and data integrity.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience (or advanced degree with 5+ years).
- 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying Microsoft Power Automate solutions in a production environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Power Automate, including cloud flows, approvals, expressions, connectors, and workflow orchestration.
- Experience integrating Power Automate with SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Forms, Power Apps, Dataverse, and REST APIs.
- Experience with environment strategy, deployment, monitoring, and application lifecycle management in Power Platform.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and scalable solutions.
- Strong understanding of data security, access controls, and enterprise technology standards.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple automation projects while working part-time (approx. 20 hours/week).
