MeeDerby Summer Intern, Staffing Industry — Remote
  Location: Remote (U.S.). No relocation required.
Schedule: Part-time, ~20 hours/week (Summer internship).

  Curious about the business behind recruiting? Join MeeDerby this summer for a hands-on internship supporting marketing, research, and database projects, while getting a front-row view of how an executive search firm operates in the staffing/workforce solutions industry.
  MeeDerby is a boutique executive search firm focused exclusively on the staffing and workforce solutions space. You’ll work directly with our Marketing & Technology Manager and collaborate with the broader team to support research, outreach materials, and data hygiene initiatives that keep our recruiting pipeline and market intelligence sharp.
  We’re hiring a Summer Intern to support marketing research, sales enablement, database upkeep, help us stay current on industry trends and improve the systems that power our search work.

What you will do:
  • Track and summarize staffing industry trends, news, articles, and thought leadership (daily/weekly cadence).
  • Support content and marketing initiatives by contributing ideas, drafts, and creative improvements to materials.
  • Assist with database hygiene projects related to candidates, clients, and pipeline organization.
  • Conduct research on target client companies, market segments, and competitors (sales enablement support).
  • Compile findings into clear weekly updates for the team and Marketing & Technology Manager.
What we’re looking for:
  • Interest in the staffing/recruiting industry, business development, marketing, or research/analytics.
  • Strong written communication skills (clear summaries, concise updates, good grammar).
  • Ability to organize information and manage multiple small projects independently.
  • Comfort working in spreadsheets and learning new tools/software quickly.
  • Attention to detail (especially for data cleanup and research accuracy).
  • Self-starter mindset and reliability in a remote work environment.
Required skills / experience:
  • Currently pursuing (or recently completed) an undergraduate degree; relevant majors include Marketing, Business, Communications, HR, or related fields.
  • Basic proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (Docs/Sheets or Word/Excel).
  • Ability to commit ~20 hours per week during the summer term.
