Member Eligibility Specialist

IDR is seeking a Member Eligibility Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. This role involves supporting health plan operations by ensuring the accuracy of member eligibility records, resolving enrollment issues, and collaborating across departments to maintain compliance and service quality in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Position Overview for the Member Eligibility Specialist:

• Researches and resolves member eligibility and enrollment inquiries through multiple communication channels.
• Reviews enrollment histories, eligibility files, and supporting documentation to verify member coverage.
• Processes enrollment changes, corrections, and retroactive updates to maintain accurate records.
• Documents research findings and updates for audit readiness and compliance purposes.
• Generates membership reports and collaborates with internal teams to address systemic issues impacting eligibility.

Requirements for the Member Eligibility Specialist:

• 1–3+ years of experience in healthcare enrollment, eligibility, or a related administrative role.
• Experience researching and resolving health insurance eligibility issues.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret healthcare eligibility data and update records accurately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
