Now Hiring: Member Experience Advocate

Location: Columbia, TN

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $22.50 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM | Monday-Friday | Overtime as needed

What it Takes to Thrive in This Fast-Paced Role (Requirements):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on professionalism and empathy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Experience in accurately documenting information in systems or databases preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow structured processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external customers

How You'll Make Every Member Interaction Count (Job Duties):

  • Provide high-level customer service to internal and external members regarding health plan inquiries
  • Professionally handle incoming and outgoing calls, resolving issues efficiently and accurately
  • Document member interactions and inquiries within the Facets system with accuracy and detail
  • Direct claims-related calls to appropriate departments, such as UMR or Medicare Supplement Claims
  • Respond to and resolve billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify, report, and escalate system issues as needed
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining service quality standards
  • Support ongoing improvement of member experience through effective communication and follow-through
