HealthFitness is seeking a full-time Membership Experience Coordinator to join our team at the Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness Center in Bentonville, AR. In this engaging role, you'll help create exceptional experiences for Walmart associates and their families by connecting them with the facility's programs, services, and wellness resources. As part of a relationship-focused team, you'll build meaningful connections, support membership growth, and guide members through available offerings while delivering outstanding customer service.

This position is 40 hours per week, typically Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., with every third weekend rotation. Flexibility is required to meet member and facility needs.

Supports the presentation and promotion of facilities, programs, and services to the eligible Walmart population. Positively impacts membership sales growth and the member experience. Works as part of a relationship building team that helps members navigate through programs and service offerings. Demonstrates leadership responsibilities in addition to a strong customer experience focus.

Key Accountabilities:

• Support and execute department’s strategy set by leadership regarding comprehensive membership growth to meet organizational targets.
• Monitor and report on membership metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential and current members to ensure high satisfaction and retention rates.
• Coordinate membership drives, events, and other activities aimed at increasing membership numbers.
• Assist in the leadership of the member experience team alongside the Member Experience Director.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or related discipline OR the equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• 1+ year of experience working in the field of fitness, recreation, and/or wellness. 
• Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED & First Aid certifications (obtained in person or blended) through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required by first day of work.
• Excellent customer service, patience, and communication skills, including the ability to motivate others. A passion for helping people live healthier lives and work as part of a team.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office programs and member management software.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems.
• Proven experience in membership growth, sales, or marketing roles, ideally within a membership-based organization.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions to drive membership growth.

Preferred:

• Experience in event planning and management.
• Knowledge of the fitness market and member needs.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Hospitality, sales and/or administrative experience. 

The compensation range for this role is $22.00 - $26.00 per hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.  We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive wage within the market.
