    Member Relations and Development (Action Developer)
    Early-Stage Nonprofit
    San Francisco Bay Area (Hybrid) - Relocation Assistance Provided
    Salary Range: $125,000 to $200,000 + Benefits
     
    Terrific role with an early-stage San Francisco-based nonprofit whose mission is to address global crises affecting billions of people. 
     
    The organization is focused on developing an online global community of members that commit 15 minutes per week to complete what they call Actions that have a positive impact on these crises.
     
    Central to this goal is their Action Development team, a group that will research, create, implement, and manage Actions for their members. We are in search of an Action Developer who will oversee Actions from inception to completion, including ideation, process management, and performance evaluation. 
     
    They are open to a wide variety of backgrounds and experience, including recent graduates or more tenured professionals. The base salary range is $125,000 to $200,000, with flexibility based on experience. 
     
    What you'll do:
    • Develop new action tasks ("Actions") that members can complete each week to create measurable real-world impact
    • Research ideas across business, technology, science, public policy, and nonprofits
    • Build partnerships with businesses and organizations
    • Take ownership of the full lifecycle of Action projects
    • Design thoughtful member experiences and improve Action completion
    • Manage and report on results to appropriate stakeholders
    • Work directly with the Founders to shape the organization's strategy and internal processes
     
    They're looking for someone who possesses at least some of the following characteristics:
    • Is highly entrepreneurial
    • Founded or worked at a start-up
    • Created/managed the full lifecycle of projects
    • Has a history of creating and building on their own and takes initiative
    • Enjoys solving open-ended problems
    • Has diverse work and hobby experience
    • Learns quickly across different subject areas
    • Experience with a grant-making organization (preferably in environmental, poverty, democratic institutions, or technological developments)
    • Builds strong analytical thinking
    • STEM background
    • Experience or studies in Symbolic Systems a plus
