Are you a polished communicator who enjoys building relationships over the phone? Our client is hiring remote Member Relations Coordinators to join its member engagement team. In this role, you will speak with prospective members who have already expressed interest, learn about their professional background, determine fit, and present membership options using a consultative sales approach.
This is a full-time, phone-based position with warm leads provided daily and the flexibility of working from home.
Job Responsibilities
The Member Relations Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Contacting prospective members who submit membership inquiries and following up in a timely, professional manner.
- Scheduling appointments and conducting brief qualification conversations focused on each applicant’s professional background, interests, and goals.
- Building rapport with professionals and executives across a wide range of industries in the U.S. and Canada.
- Presenting membership programs, benefits, products, and services clearly and confidently.
- Enrolling qualified applicants into paid membership accounts using a consultative, soft-close sales process.
- Maintaining consistent follow-up with members to learn about recent activities, achievements, and service needs.
- Managing accurate notes, call activity, and relationship details in company systems.
- Delivering outstanding service and a positive experience throughout the enrollment process.
- Meeting daily activity expectations, sales goals, and service standards.
- Spending the majority of the workday on the phone speaking with prospective members and Members.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate is professional, patient, motivated, articulate, and comfortable speaking with accomplished professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Required qualifications include:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience.
- Fluent English communication skills with strong diction, active listening, and professional phone presence.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to stay focused in a remote work environment.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable speaking with professionals, executives, and decision-makers across diverse industries.
- Basic computer and internet proficiency.
- Availability to work Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM ET.
- Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience in sales, Member relations, customer service, recruiting, admissions, fundraising, or membership enrollment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Coachability and openness to proven sales methods.
Remote Work Requirements
- To be eligible for this remote position, candidates must have:
- A laptop or desktop computer running Windows 10 or newer, or macOS 10.13 or newer. Tablets and Chromebooks are not compatible
- High-speed broadband internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps upload and download speed. Mobile internet or hotspot connections are not accepted
- A wired USB headset with an over-the-mouth microphone
- A quiet, dedicated workspace at home or in a private office
