What You'll Do:
Provide prompt, professional assistance to members by telephone, email, and in person.
Answer questions regarding accounts, transactions, financial services, and available products.
Assist members with wire transfers, account withdrawals, account inquiries, and other service requests.
Identify member needs and introduce relevant financial products and services.
Process unsecured loan applications, including credit cards and lines of credit, and assist with secured loan applications as needed.
Troubleshoot online banking issues and respond to member email requests.
Complete account research, including requests involving check copies, statements, payment issues, forgeries, and other documentation.
Process and coordinate applicable check disbursements and member correspondence.
Support other departments with account research and special requests.
Assist members in the lobby during assigned Saturday shifts.
Participate in departmental and individual projects and provide additional support as business needs require.
Work occasional overtime when necessary to complete assignments or projects.
What Were Looking For:
High school diploma or GED, related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous customer service, banking, credit union, call center, or financial services experience is helpful.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, member-first approach.
Ability to confidently explain information and communicate with members and coworkers.
Comfortable performing basic business math, including percentages, ratios, fractions, and decimals.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow written and verbal procedures.
Comfortable using word processing, spreadsheet, internet, and other computer-based applications.
Ability to stay organized while managing multiple member requests and priorities.
A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn new financial products, systems, and processes.
