Title of Position: Member Service Representative

Position Overview: As a Member Service Representative, your focus is delivering exceptional service to our members while facilitating various transactions with precision and efficiency. Serving as a frontline representative of the organization, you uphold the highest standards of professionalism, focusing on creating a positive member centric experience. This role requires strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Position Type:Full-Time. Regular shifts include Monday to Friday 8:15AM - 5:15PM with rotating Saturday shifts 8:30AM - 12:30PM. 

Compensation Range: $18.00/hr. - $ 22.00/hr. *Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills* 

Location:Position is on-site at our Sayre Branch located at 2121 Elmira St in Sayre, PA.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Prioritize member demands while providing impeccable member service by greeting members warmly, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Guide members to specialized team members for further assistance or services as needed.
  • Complete all assigned educational courses and tests, within required timeframes and passing scores to include product knowledge.
  • Identify opportunities and recommend products and services to members, to align with their financial needs and aspirations.
  • Conduct cash handling and transaction processing accurately, adhering to established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Verify member identification and authorization for transactions to safeguard against fraud and unauthorized access.
  • Provide departmental back-up coverage as needed.
  • Respond effectively to changing ideas, responsibilities, expectations, trends, strategies, and other processes.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
  • Perform other duties needed to help fulfil our mission, drive our strategy, and support our organization’s values.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma with 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, PCs, etc.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • An associate degree preferred.
  • Previous customer service or sales experience.
