Member Services Associate (Front Desk / Customer Service)

Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dependable Member Services Associate to join our front desk team. This role focuses on customer service, member support, and daily facility operations in a fast-paced, community-centered environment.
As the first point of contact, you'll help create a positive experience for members by providing assistance, answering questions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Assist with membership sign-ups, account updates, and program registrations
- Answer phones, respond to questions, and provide accurate information
- Conduct facility tours for prospective members
- Handle cash transactions and balance register/drawer
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility
- Monitor building activity and follow all safety and emergency procedures
- Support opening and closing duties as scheduled
- Work collaboratively with staff and assist with onboarding new team members
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous customer service, front desk, or retail experience is a plus
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems or membership software
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends
