Member Services Coordinator
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid)
Salary: $52,000–$56,000 annually
A mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking a Member Services Coordinator to support its Membership and Audience Care team. This role will provide exceptional service to members and donors while ensuring accurate processing of donations, account updates, and member inquiries.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and supporting meaningful community-focused work. This position will serve as an important connection point between members, internal teams, and external service partners while helping create a positive experience for supporters.
This role will support a variety of responsibilities including member communications, donation processing, CRM database management, administrative support, and fundraising initiatives.
Serve as a primary point of contact for member and donor inquiries through phone, email, voicemail, and mail.
Provide professional, timely, and personalized support regarding memberships, donations, account information, benefits, and general inquiries.
Research member accounts to resolve discrepancies and provide accurate solutions.
Partner with internal teams to address more complex member concerns and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain a positive, service-focused experience for all member and donor interactions.
Accurately process mailed checks and other donation transactions within the organization’s donor database/CRM system.
Maintain accurate member records, including updating account information and processing changes.
Ensure donation entries are completed accurately and within established timelines.
Support donation reconciliation efforts by maintaining accurate documentation and records.
Investigate donation-related questions, including payment status, receipts, and account updates.
Process incoming membership mail and ensure requests are routed appropriately.
Support member benefit fulfillment, including thank-you gifts, replacement requests, shipment tracking, and issue resolution.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve fulfillment-related issues.
Maintain accurate records of member communications and fulfillment activities.
Provide operational support during membership campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and donor engagement efforts.
Assist with outbound member communications and stewardship activities.
Collaborate with teams across Development, Finance, Marketing, Programming, Events, and Operations to resolve member needs.
Assist with special projects and additional administrative responsibilities as needed.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
2+ years of experience in customer service, member services, administrative support, nonprofit operations, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with donors, members, and internal stakeholders.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
Experience working with CRM systems, donor databases, or customer relationship management platforms preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and common workplace technology tools.
Ability to learn new systems quickly and navigate multiple platforms while maintaining accuracy.
Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Hybrid work schedule:
Three days per week onsite at the organization’s Denver office.
Up to two days per week remote, based on business needs and team collaboration.
Some flexibility in scheduling may be available after onboarding and training.
This position reports to the Director of Membership and works closely with teams across Development, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Programming, and Audience Services.
