Member Services Representative

System One is seeking a Member Services Representative to join our team in Pasadena, CA for a contract to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for members and visitors, maintaining a personable, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
- Accurately convey information regarding Credit Union products and services.
- Respond to member account inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently.
- Cross-sell or refer products and services based on needs identification.
- Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of all members’ records.
- Open and close the branch as scheduled, ensuring security protocols are followed.
- Greet and welcome members and visitors professionally.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Log visitors in the Visitor Log and manage visitor ID badges when applicable.
- Assist with account maintenance including issuing cards, account changes, disputes, wires, and IRA transactions.
- Process loans according to current lending policies, set up and disburse approved loans, and complete related tasks.
- Maintain organized member lobby and technology areas, updating marketing materials as needed.
- Perform teller duties and, if applicable, manage safe deposit boxes, providing access and maintaining proper records.
- Educate members on self-service and 24-hour technology channels, processing check orders and PIN changes.
- Comply with federal regulations, credit union policies, and procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act requirements.
- Perform notary services and basic account maintenance as needed.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned to support branch operations.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Experience in financial services with a proven record of delivering excellent service.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Notary Public certification.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
