The Salvation Army Kroc Center is seeking an energetic and results-driven Membership Manager to lead membership sales, engagement, retention, and customer service initiatives. This leadership role oversees the Member Services team, develops strategies to attract and retain members, cultivates community partnerships, and helps ensure every guest experiences the welcoming environment that makes the Kroc Center a cornerstone of our community. The Membership Manager plays a vital role in advancing The Salvation Army's mission while helping individuals and families connect to programs, services, and opportunities that enrich lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead membership recruitment, retention, engagement, and collections efforts to achieve organizational goals.
- Supervise, mentor, train, and develop Member Services staff while fostering a culture of excellence in customer service.
- Build relationships within the community through outreach, tours, special events, and corporate partnership development.
- Analyze membership trends and performance data to identify opportunities for growth and enhanced member experiences.
- Manage membership operations, point-of-sale systems, financial processes, and escalated member concerns with professionalism and care.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to operate general office equipment and perform clerical and administrative tasks.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry light objects weighing less than 25 pounds.
- Work is performed in a fast-paced community center environment with frequent interaction with members, guests, and visitors from diverse backgrounds.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Two years of progressively responsible experience supervising employees in a customer service environment.
- Strong leadership, customer service, sales, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build relationships, solve problems, analyze data, and motivate teams to achieve goals.
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid State Driver's License.
