Memory Care CoordinatorThe Memory Care Coordinator provides leadership and manages the operations of our Memory Care unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in memory care and a compassionate understanding of the impact of neurocognitive impairment on the individual and family.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of the Memory Care Neighborhood.Develop, coordinate, and lead engaging memory care programming and activities.Provide visible leadership and support to residents, families, and team members.Supervise, coach, and train memory care staff.Collaborate with Nursing, Dining Services, Activities, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Transportation, and other departments to ensure seamless resident care.Participate in resident assessments, admissions, move-ins, and care planning.Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.Communicate regularly with residents' families regarding care, services, and changes in condition.Assist with budgeting, inventory management, and departmental planning.Participate in the community's on-call rotation.QualificationsDegree or certification as a Medical Assistant or related field such as Nursing, Social Services, Behavioral Health or Therapeutic Recreation preferred.Minimum of 4 years of experience working with individuals living with dementia preferred.Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), Certified Alzheimer Disease and Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT), CPR, and First Aid certifications preferred.Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of dementia care best practices and applicable healthcare regulations.Medication Technician Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.BenefitsVacation time & sick timeComprehensive benefits package Dental and vision coverage is availableFlexible Spending Account401(k) participation with employer match Equal Opportunity Employer
