Help Us Build the Future of Dementia Care
We're looking for someone who believes memory care can be better than most people think it can be.
At The Groves Senior Living, our memory care neighborhood is already a place where residents are well cared for, families are supported, and our team is deeply committed. But we believe good care is only the beginning.
We're investing in dedicated leadership to help us build a truly specialized dementia care program—one grounded in evidence-based practices, exceptional caregiver education, meaningful engagement, individualized behavioral support, and an environment thoughtfully designed around the unique needs of people living with dementia.
We're not hiring someone to maintain what already exists. We're looking for someone who is excited to help build what comes next.
If you're passionate about dementia care, enjoy developing people, believe excellence is never finished, and are energized by the opportunity to create something exceptional, we'd love to meet you.
Who We Are
"Our supreme goal is to do and be the best in all we undertake, and to provide a Stellar life for our residents, their families, and our employees."
— Evrett Benton, Founder
The Groves Senior Living is one of Stellar Senior Living's premier assisted living and memory care communities, located in beautiful Goodyear, Arizona.

We believe our greatest asset is our people, and we are committed to creating exceptional experiences for our residents, their families, and our employees through our core values of Integrity, Service, Inspiration, and Joy.
The Opportunity
As Memory Care Director, you'll provide leadership for our memory care neighborhood by combining operational excellence with a deep understanding of dementia care.
Working alongside our Executive Director, Health & Wellness Director, and interdisciplinary leadership team, you'll help create an environment where residents thrive, families feel supported, caregivers grow professionally, and innovation is encouraged.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing an exceptional memory care team
- Creating and maintaining a therapeutic, person-centered environment for individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia
- Developing individualized behavioral support strategies that improve resident quality of life
- Partnering with families through education, communication, and compassionate support
- Collaborating with nursing, physicians, therapists, hospice, pharmacy, and other healthcare partners
- Evaluating and continuously improving the neighborhood using evidence-based dementia care principles
- Ensuring compliance with community policies, Arizona regulations, and quality standards
- Coordinating staffing and daily operations to meet residents' needs
- Leading quality assurance and continuous performance improvement initiatives
- Helping create systems that elevate—not simply maintain—the memory care experience

- The Groves becomes recognized as a community that sets a higher standard for dementia care.
We're Looking for Someone Who...
You might be the right fit if you:
- Have a genuine passion for serving people living with dementia.
- Lead with humility, compassion, and accountability.
- Enjoy mentoring, coaching, and developing caregivers.
- Understand that behaviors are communication—not simply problems to solve.
- Are naturally curious and committed to lifelong learning.
- Think creatively and embrace continuous improvement.
- Build trusting relationships with residents, families, and team members.
- Want to help create one of Arizona's most specialized dementia care programs.
