Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements

Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Coordinator to provide clinical mental health services in a correctional facility setting. This role involves assessing, planning, and delivering non-medical mental health care. The ideal candidate must be able to perform all responsibilities efficiently and maintain professional standards in a secure environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews with inmates

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and level of functioning

• Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as required

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in healthcare records

• Ensure strict confidentiality of all sensitive information

• Apply knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques in daily practice

• Deliver appropriate mental health support and interventions to assigned caseload

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience

• At least 2 years in a similar or comparable role

Education Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field from an accredited institution

Certifications & Licensure

• Active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in the state of practice

• Valid driver's license preferred (may be required based on facility)

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Additional Requirements

• Driver's license and Social Security Card required for facility clearance

• Drug screening (DS) will be completed by the facility prior to start and scheduled at a nearby location
