What Youll Do
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments for inmates based on review of records and clinical interviews
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans tailored to inmate needs
- Document all treatment and evaluation activities accurately in healthcare records
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive mental health information
- Deliver evidence-based psychological counseling and crisis intervention as required
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of counseling theories and techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal mental health services for inmates
What You Need
- Valid LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license
- Minimum of 2 years mental health experience, preferably in correctional settings
- Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis management skills
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive situations with discretion
- US citizenship (due to ICE clearance requirements) full clearance may take up to 60+ days; facility will expedite once documentation is submitted
