This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health (OMH), Spartanburg Area Mental Health Center, 250 Dewey Ave, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
Under limited supervision provides culturally sensitive services of Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, Crisis Assessment, PRS, and case management services to assigned clients in the Rehab Services Program.
Responsibilities for the Mental Health Professional I:
Provide Assessment, Individual and Group Services, Crisis Intervention, PRS, and Family Therapy to assigned clients.
Function as part of treatment team. Work with clients and other staff to develop Treatment Plans for individual clients and helps to develop program plan to meet these individuals goals.
Assist with coordinating care for patients at Rosewood ALF, Cantrells RCF, and Draymont Ridge apartments, and acts as liaison between MHC and these facilities.
Maintain clinical records to Quality Assurance Standards and maintain compliance with Federal, State and Local Corporate Compliance Laws.
Attend staff meetings, supervisory conferences, workshops, and required staff development and training.

Successfully complete the Basic Fundamentals course with a minimum grade of 75.
Be able to pass CPR and Managing Agitation in the Psychiatric Setting (MAPS) Certification.
Perform all jobs duties and provide all services and documentation in compliance with CARF, OMH, CCMH, Quality Assurance, Compliance HIPAA, Transcultural and Productivity Standards, Policies and Procedures.
