Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist

Job Title: Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist / Behavioral Health Worker

Location: North Hollywood, CA

Pay Rate: $22–$24+/hour (DOE, negotiable based on experience)

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role:Legacy Staffing is seeking compassionate and qualified individuals to support our client in a mental health and social services setting. This role involves working directly with individuals through both one-on-one and group therapeutic activities, while maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate brings a strong educational background along with a passion for helping others.

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and support individual and group therapeutic activities
• Document client interactions and progress through detailed progress notes
• Maintain accurate and timely case documentation (EHR experience preferred)
• Support clients in daily activities and promote a positive, structured environment
• Collaborate with clinical and support staff to ensure quality care
• Follow all program guidelines, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum education requirement: Associate's Degree (AA) with Experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health, Social Services, Psychology, or related field
• Ability to pass a drug screen, health screening, TB test, and criminal background check including a Live Scan
• Experience facilitating group and/or individual therapeutic activities
• Experience with progress note documentation (EHR preferred, but not required)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Compassionate, patient, and able to work in a team environment
