What You’ll Do
  • Conduct mental health screenings and assessments for inmates based on available records and clinical interviews
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and social workers to coordinate inmate care
  • Develop, implement, and modify individual mental health treatment plans
  • Document assessments and treatment activities accurately in health records
  • Provide crisis intervention and mental health counseling to inmates as needed
  • Administer psychological tests and evaluate inmate mental status
  • Offer behavior management and support strategies to improve inmate adjustment and safety

What You Need
Required:
  • Valid State License in Mental Health or related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in mental health settings, preferably with correctional/inmate populations
  • Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and counseling techniques
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work within a secure environment

Preferred:
  • Experience working in secure or correctional facilities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
