Summary:

Make a real difference in kids' lives while working a schedule that works for you. This part-time Mental Health Technician role offers flexible 4, 8, or 12 hour shifts on our pediatric psychiatric unit. You'll serve as primary caregiver for patients ages Pre-K through adolescent, supporting daily living activities, maintaining a safe therapeutic environment, and helping manage challenging behaviors. You'll also take part in crisis intervention, teaching, group process, and on-call rotations as needed.
Our ideal candidate brings behavioral health and pediatric experience. Required certifications (CPI Crisis Intervention, Heartsaver CPR, CSC SCM) are provided through paid training within your first 60 days.

Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma

  • Experience in inpatient or partial hospital psychiatric treatment preferred

  • Pediatric experience preferred

  • CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention - Units 1-7 & 9-10 plus the CPI Children's Control Position from Unit 8 or must be completed within 60 days of start date

  • Heartsaver CPR within 60 days of start date

  • CSC SCM training must be completed within 60 days of start date
