Mental Health Technician

The Mental Health Technician will provide direct care to individuals with mental health issues and assist in the development of treatment plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for clients, monitoring their behavior, and providing emotional support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to individuals with mental health issues

• Assist in the development of treatment plans

• Provide a safe and secure environment for clients

• Monitor client behavior

• Provide emotional support

• Assist in the implementation of therapeutic activities

• Maintain accurate records of client progress

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• NAR required, NAC preferred, or Medical Assistant

• Previous experience working with individuals with mental health issues

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
