Job Summary and Qualifications

We are looking for a compassionate and ambitious Mental Health Technician PRN provide clinical support to patients of all populations. · You will be working under the supervision of a RN, the Behavioral Health Technician PRN performs various patient care activities necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.

· You will perform, participate, implement and evaluate personal performance, opportunities for personal growth and ability to change.

· You will be knowledgeable of all policies and procedures that affect the outcomes of patient care, employee rights and responsibilities.

· You will perform, participate, implement and evaluate performance improvement activities within the departmental level.

· You will identify opportunities for waste reduction and department efficiency.

    What qualifications you will need:

    • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    • 6 months experience caring for behavioral health patients is preferred
